PHP Web Developer
Location: Philadelphia
Star Group is currently looking for a full time PHP Web Developer, with a focus on Drupal theming and front-end development.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Photoshop design files to working Drupal themes
- Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites
- Extend website builds and functionality
- Work with designers to help them develop logical, accessible, and web-friendly design templates
- Communicate with clientele to discuss project development
Requirements and Experience:
- Web-site development/architecture experience with PHP in a LAMP environment
- Advanced knowledge of writing semantically correct XHTML/HTML, and willingness to learn HTML5 and new web concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of CSS
- Proficiency in jQuery and/or other javascript frameworks
- Knowledge and experience dealing with cross browser/platform display issues
- Experience writing and understanding PHP code
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop; must be able to translate a PSD file into a working web template quickly and accurately
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- A good understanding of Drupal's design and development workflow (properly running and maintaining modules, site files, etc)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
- Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
