Job Description:
The IT Systems Engineer provides user and infrastructure support for an Ad Agency with over 300 employees. This person is primarily a troubleshooter; they provide assistance to people with computer software, hardware or system problems. They answer questions and resolve problems via telephone, e-mail or in person. In addition they install and modify hardware, operating systems and software programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Connect Wise ticketing System
  • Troubleshoot and repair user issues with hardware and software.
  • Log all reported issues and user interaction
  • Perform general maintenance and system administration tasks.
  • Complete project work assigned by management staff.
  • Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Stay current with all existing applications and hardware.
  • Travel to branch locations in the Metro-Philly area

Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of IT support or related experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience with OS X, OS XServer and Windows Server platforms
  • Experience with Windows XP/Vista/7 is required
  • Experience with Windows/Mac cross platform interoperability is required
  • Experience with Exchange server 2003/2007 is a plus
  • Experience with implementing LAN technology is required
  • Entourage
  • Adobe Applications experience is required
  • ARD, TeamViewer, ShowMyPC experience is required
  • Microsoft Active Directory experience is required
  • Microsoft Terminal Services is a plus
  • Cisco routers/switches experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAN storage technology is a plus
  • JAMF/Casper experience is a plus
  • Printer, Workstation, Server Hardware, RAID
  • iPhone, Blackberry, and Other PDA Hardware and Software
  • Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware Software
