Russ has been in the search engine marketing field for 5+ years. His experience in search started when he took a co-op job with Digitas Health during his time at Drexel University. He was initially responsible for organic search engine optimization (SEO) but realized that collaboration between paid and organic was necessary, and took it upon himself to be trained in Paid Search.
Russ has been responsible for managing paid and organic search engine campaigns for a number of large pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca, Merck and Teva. In 2011 Russ joined the Star Group as a Search Marketing Manager. He is Google AdWords certified as of November 2010.
Adam is a Vice President of Social Media and Emerging Media, and is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of social media relations, as well as keeping on top of industry trends. Guiding the public relations team on evolving social media trends, he ensures that his colleagues are always learning. Adam has successfully earned national and regional attention for clients through blogger outreach and online community engagement tactics. He has experience with consumer and professional service clients in a variety of industries, and is additionally experienced in issues management, communications planning, and community relations.
Dawn is a talented writer for the PR, Creative and Interactive teams, as well as Account Supervisor for the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She brings to the team strong creative and strategic writing skills, working on everything from writing scripts, collateral and proposals, to press materials, op-eds, newsletters and websites for a number of clients. Dawn also is an innovative, yet highly organized thinker, and, therefore is called on to assist other Account Executives in their client management and project development needs.
As an Affiliate Marketing Manager, Jessica maintains all current affiliate programs, while prospecting additional internet advertising opportunities for Star Group. Jessica has experience with media production, internet start ups, and a strong interest in the perseverance of logic based advertising. One of her strongest attributes is appreciating a good story, and it's hard to not find her within range of an internet hotspot or arguing with anyone who will listen about the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. One of her life goals is to be invited to speak at a TED conference to help inspire, as so many have helped inspire her.
Denise has been with Star Group since 2004 and currently works as a Media Supervisor. In this capacity, Denise interfaces with account teams, clients, and media representatives to ensure that media objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Denise has had extensive experience with non-profit and for-profit clients. Her planning expertise ranges from a national to a local perspective, and as a media planner and buyer Denise spearheads the media research, planning and buying for the several local and regional accounts.
Beyond Star Group, Denise sits on boards for The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Young Professional Networking (YPN) and Third Century Initiative (3ci) board. She most recently joined the LIFT Philadelphia board, which helps combat poverty and expand opportunity in the community.
