Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy is a Creative Director at Trapezoid Communications, A Star Group Communications, Inc. Company.

With a solid background in visual design and a philosophy of informed common sense, Tim has a unique aptitude as a designer and user experience architect.

He has always been drawn to understanding what motivates behavior. That interest was the foundation of his Master’s Thesis, which focused on human factors, visual behavior, and decision-making. Tim is also a design instructor at local colleges.

Before joining Star Tim had worked with major Healthcare, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Micro Electronics companies such as Amgen, Athena Diagnostics, Biogen Idec, Intel, Abbot Laboratories, Merck, and Pfizer.

Tim is originally from the Boston area and has lived and worked in Nashville TN, San Jose CA, Providence RI, and Philadelphia PA.
